Here's When 'Avengers: Endgame' Tickets Probably Go on Sale

Avengers: Endgame is officially less than two months away, and anyone that wants to have prime seats for that Thursday night showing, should probably start monitoring ticket sales right now.  There's no official word just yet, but we can safely assume that Avengers: Endgame tickets will go on sale sometime within the next month or so. They might even go live in the next few days. Captain Marvel tickets went on sale on January 7, almost exactly two months before the film's release on March 8. That does seem somewhat early for Marvel's films, which usually start selling tickets around 6 or 7 weeks before release. But it could also be an indication that Endgame tickets might go live with Captain Marvel's release next week or even the week after. Wouldn't it make a lot of sense to sell tickets right after a Captain Marvel post-credits scene drives Endgame hype up even more? Earlier this week, a redditor who has since deleted their account also shared a...

Eddie Howe blames defeat on Bournemouth players

Eddie Howe refused to blame anyone but his own players for their 5-1 hammering at Arsenal, saying "every aspect" let them down. Howe's men matched their worst away run in 85 years - nine straight league defeats - with a 5-1 thrashing at the Emirates on Wednesday night, having trailed from the fourth minute in north London. The timing of the opening goal, scored inside four minutes by Mesut Ozil, particularly irked Howe after he had called his side "exciting" pre-game, and he said: "They were too good for us, it was a difficult night. We never truly recovered from the start, and it was uncharacteristic. "I don't think we were good in any aspect of the game, with or without the ball, mentality wasn't great, it's been disappointing and we need to reflect on it honestly. " Despite their performance, Bournemouth found themselves back within a goal of their hosts at the interval after Lys Mousset's goal on the half-hour...

Alcohol

Alcohol's main effect on the brain is sedation," Darria Long-Gillespie, M.D., an emergency room doctor and clinical assistant professor at the University of Tennessee School of Medicine, tells SELF. As the CDC explains, alcohol is a depressant that impacts your central nervous system, which is comprised of your brain and spinal cord. With that in mind, it's no surprise that alcohol's sweeping effects can impact mental functions like decision-making along with physical ones like your ability to stay alert. "When alcohol is first being absorbed and our blood alcohol concentration (BAC) is on the way up, we may feel stimulated," Susan Stoner, Ph.D., a research consultant at the University of Washington Alcohol & Drug Abuse Institute, tells SELF. This is because alcohol acts on your brain's "reward" system by prompting the release of dopamine, a neurotransmitter that can induce good feelings. But the more alcohol you drink, the more your bod...

Seville (Spain) – Lionel Messi scored his 50th career hat-trick to fire FC Barcelona to a 4-2 win at Sevilla on Saturday after the champions had twice fallen behind. The victory gave the Catalans a 10-point lead at the top of the Spanish La Liga. Sevilla, who have only won once in the league in 2019, took the lead midway through the first half through veteran winger Jesus Navas. But they were soon pegged back by an unstoppable volley from Messi. The home side capitalised on sleepy defending from Barca to re-take the lead before halftime as Gabriel Mercado pounced in the area. Barca coach Ernesto Valverde made two attacking changes at the start of the second period by introducing Ousmane Dembele and Sergi Roberto. Giggs backs Solskjaer as permanent Manchester United manager

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has given Manchester United momentum thanks to his tactical acumen and United should give him the manager’s job on a permanent basis, club great Ryan Giggs has said. Wales manager Giggs, who was Solskjaer’s teammate at Old Trafford for 11 seasons, thought the Norwegian caretaker boss had done enough to be handed the reins next season. “We’ve messed around far too long. “When you’ve got someone who knows the club, who is tactically astute, clearly has the players and fans on board; that gives you lots of momentum. “There will be bumps in the road but most fans imagine what he could do with the money that’s been spent the last few years. “He studied the game while he had a bad injury and then he coached (the reserves) at the club. So I always thought he had that potential because he knows the game and has that inner steel,” Giggs told The Guardian. Solskjaer’s credentials will be tested this week when United travel to Chelsea later on Monday for a fifth-...
